Privacy Policy

Who we are

L2L Bible Bowl is a Bible quiz study app published by Christian Tech Solutions (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app and its companion service collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email support@christiantechsolutions.com.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we store the email address and unique user identifier provided by your sign-in method (email/password, Google, or Apple). One account represents a household.

Profiles. Within an account you can create profiles for each person studying. A profile stores the display name you choose (a first name or nickname), an optional avatar selection, and study preferences such as shuffle and notification settings.

Study activity. As a profile studies, we record quiz answers, scores, progress, and study streaks so the app can track improvement and show rankings.

Purchase records. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. We keep a record of the product purchased and the store's transaction identifier so we can unlock your content and honor your purchases across devices.

Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and improve support.

How we use information

• To sign you in and sync your content and progress across devices.
• To track study progress, streaks, and rankings within the app.
• To deliver content you have purchased and maintain an accurate purchase ledger.
• To respond to support requests.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.

Children's privacy

Many people who study with L2L Bible Bowl are children. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian at the household level; children use profiles under that account. Profile display names are never shown publicly — leaderboards and rankings display a randomly generated handle (for example, “giraffe2042”) instead, so real names never leave the household. We collect no more information from children's profiles than described above, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children outside of a parent-managed account. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party services

The app relies on a small number of service providers to operate:

• Google Firebase Authentication — sign-in and identity (including Google and Apple sign-in options).
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for in-app purchases.
• Microsoft Azure — hosting for our servers and database.

These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy policies.

Data security and retention

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in access-controlled databases. We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Purchase records may be retained after account deletion where required for financial record-keeping.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit profile information in the app at any time. You can request a copy of your data, request deletion of specific data (see Data Removal), or delete your account and all associated data (see Account Removal).

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
